Roger Brooks Function
On Thursday, May 4th, Roger Brooks of Destination Development, presented an enlightening talk on Tourism and Development. Roger's thoughts and impressions of Asheville as they related to tourists were critically thought out and could be quite helpful to the City as it pertains to developing tourism. The turnout was large and business owners citywide were on hand to make note of his points. A special thanks to Robin Cape, City Councilwoman, for her appearance at this function. Thanks also to those who were here from City Planning and Development. After Roger's presentation, a reception was held and Roger spent time talking with local people. Refreshments were served and a good time was passed by all.
