"The Color Purpose", by Cory Bradley :: 6/5/07
Cory uses a manipulation of the human body in a dialogue on American life today through the picture plane. He uses the traditional medium of oil on canvas to comment on experience and desire. Woven in the work is a message that deals with perception of race, of human interaction and of visual intelligence. Cory's images call into question the thread that binds conditions of Americana and the surrounding ideals understood by culture today.
