Graham Hackett

Graham Hackett, Founder and Artistic Director of Catalyst Productions and POETIX, is a veteran performer, event producer, poet, and educator with over 14 years of professional stage experience and numerous producer credits. Having served hundreds of students through various educational providers, Graham combines the best practices of each to make POETIX a prime example of experiential arts education.

In each capacity, the work centers on personal and community development through cultural awareness.

The POETIX program outlines the techniques for writing and performing original spoken-word poetry and serves a broad range of populations including juvenile inmates, public, private, and charter schools, community centers in housing projects.

Besides being Designer, Director, and a Performer in The Poetix Lounge spoken-word event series, the VARIABLE talent showcase, and The RANT & RAVE: A Celebration of Free Speech, Graham has performed @ the BONNAROO Music & Arts Festival, The LOKI, TRINUMERAL, and ECHO Project Music & Arts Festivals, the Lake Eden Arts Festival, and Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival, and at Westside Rhyme in New York City.
