Stina Andersen, Designer of ARTeries

"Fiber is the essence of my being from the veins and arteries of my heart into the motions of my hands sewing threads; creating the wearable artwork I call ARTeries."

ARTeries by Stina, her clothingline of contemporary fashion that is built from vintage and recently recycled textiles, is sewn and surged into wearable art garments and commissioned clothing in the Phil Mechanic's tallest studio space. Vivacious varieties of fabrics line the walls of the space in a rainbow of textures and patterns.

Stina works primarily from individually commissioned items. She feels each garment is an artistic celebration of color, texture, and the magic one feels when they are wearing it! As a designer she alters, repurposes, and composes new wearable enjoyable items from the stock of delicious fabrics and clothes you would otherwise be unable to wear. She can alter vintage items into contemporary funktional garments and deconstruct your old wardrobe into fresh new fabric frocks!
